Inpatient Residential Drug Rehab Cleveland TN - Addiction Treatment Center

The ongoing opioid epidemic rages like an out-of-control wildfire across the South, but for one week in 2018, it became an inferno in Bradley County. From April 20 through 27, there were 13 overdoses, a rate of almost two a day in a county of 105,000 people.

It may come as little surprise, when one considers the proliferation of opioid prescriptions in the Cleveland, Tennessee area: In 2016, while there were 7.8 million prescriptions written statewide, 120,000 were prescribed to Bradley County residents, more than one for every man, woman and child. And according to a report by The Tennessean newspaper, chances are many drug-related deaths are flying beneath the radar: The Bradley County medical examiner, until recently, attributed drug-related deaths that did not meet clear signs of suicide as accidental.

With drugs and alcohol causing a number of health problems and medical emergencies countywide, Cleveland area residents need access to the best addiction treatment care possible. Less than an hour and a half away, such a facility already exists. Cornerstone of Recovery is one of the premier addiction treatment facilities in the nation, and we've been providing services to those who struggle with chemical dependency for 30 years. Our message is hope and the promise of freedom from active addiction; we accept most major commercial health insurance plans; and we provide a full spectrum of care so that those who suffer can find a new way of life.

Three Reasons Why You Need to Call Today to Get Addiction and Alcoholism Treatment

  • We’re in the middle of great economic uncertainty. Unemployment rates reached their highest levels in history in April, which means COVID-19 took a catastrophic toll on the job market this spring. If you have a job — or even if you don’t, but you still have benefits provided by your previous place of employment — you’re fortunate. And you should take advantage of those benefits to get the help you need for a drug or alcohol problem today, because there’s no guarantee you’ll have the resources to do so down the road.

  • No one is truly certain what life in the time of coronavirus looks like going forward. Yes, there are still new cases being logged daily, and yes, it’s certainly a health concern for anyone and everyone. But if you’re struggling with addiction and alcoholism, you’re already sick — and the disease you’re battling is far more likely to claim your life than COVID-19. Overdose deaths kill more Americans annually than all combat deaths in the Vietnam War, and alcohol-related deaths claim 88,000 lives yearly. If you have an alcohol or drug problem, you’re more likely to become one of those statistics than a COVID-19 victim.

  • Putting it off for another day is no longer an option. You may tell yourself that it is … and you may have made it this far without treatment … but are you truly living? In our experience — and many of us who work at Cornerstone are in recovery ourselves — suffering from addiction and alcoholism is just existing. Our problems slowly get worse, our health slowly declines and we’re stuck in wreckage of our own making, until we’re faced with two choices: get help, or lose everything. Why wait until the latter when with a simple phone call, you can choose the former?

What Is Involved With The Inpatient Residential Rehab Programs?

At Cornerstone, our professional care begins with your initial phone call to our trained and compassionate Admissions counselors. We'll discuss your problems and design a plan to best fit your needs, and when you arrive on campus at our four-building facility on the banks of the Little River, we'll get you assessed and oriented and into our Medical Detox program as quickly as possible. After a three- to five-day process during which drugs and alcohol are slowly and safely purged from your system, you'll be introduced to one of our four primary treatment programs:

Newcomers Inpatient Program

Newcomer's Residential Inpatient Treatment, an entry-level crash course in addiction and recovery for those with little to no previous treatment exposure. We believe that in addition to rehabilitation, patients need an understanding of the disease concept of addiction, as well as insight into the cognitive and behavioral patterns that have kept them trapped in repetitive cycles of emotional and physical pain.

Recovery Renewal Inpatient Program

Recovery Renewal Residential Inpatient Treatment, a deeper dive into the recovery process for those with previous treatment stays who have been unable to stay clean long-term. Relapse is a part of the recovery process for some people, but it doesn't mean complete failure. Through this program, those who have attempted to get clean in the past will address underlying issues that have prevented them from doing so.

Young Adult Inpatient Program

Young Adult Residential Inpatient Treatment, a program for men ages 18 to 26 who have found themselves adrift before their lives have truly begun. We provide some vocational training tools, and we've put together a program designed for active, and sometimes restless, younger individuals who need a more hands-on approach to treatment

Women Only Inpatient Program

Women's Residential Inpatient Treatment, a gender-specific program for female clients who require the safety and security of a sisterhood in order to process issues and trauma unique to their gender. Free from the influence of masculine energy, the Women's Program is designed to help female patients discover their true potential outside of the prison of addiction.

Treatment doesn't end once those programs are complete, however. At Cornerstone, we offer a comprehensive Intensive Outpatient Treatment program for those who wish to lengthen their stay and remain a part of our Sober Living community, so that when the time comes to return to Cleveland, they do so armed with all of the knowledge and coping skills we have to give them.

Does Cornerstone Accept My Health Insurance?

Financial hurdles are an impediment to many individuals who seek medical care — and make no mistake, that's exactly what treatment is. You suffer from a disease, not a moral failing, and our goal is to help you understand that you're a sick person who needs to get well, not a bad person who wants to be good. For that reason, most health insurance plans offer behavioral health benefits that cover treatment at facilities like Cornerstone. Some of the plans with which we're in network include:

Aetna
Anthem
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal
Cigna
ComPsych
CoreSource
Crescent Health Solutions

Empire Blue Cross
GEHA
Health Alliance
HealthSmart: Benefit Solutions
Highmark
Horizon Healthcare
Humana
Magellan Behavioral Health

MedCost
Meritain Health
Optum
UBH
UMR
UnitedHeathcare
ValueOptions/Beacon Health Options

In addition, if you're a resident of Tennessee enrolled in managed care organizations under the TennCare banner, we have a sister facility that can offer you the same quality of care at a lower cost. Stepping Stone to Recovery is in network with TennCare's BlueCare and Amerigroup plans, and treatment provided under that umbrella includes Medical Detox, Residential Inpatient and Intensive Outpatient.

But what if you don't have health insurance? There are private pay options available; by calling our Admissions staff, we can discuss your financial status and, if needed, refer you to another facility. Our goal is to provide hope, and while we know you'll find it at Cornerstone, we want you to find it, period, and we'll work with you to make that happen.

What Happens Next?

While it's difficult to ascertain the nature of medical advice offered through a website, we can assure you of this: Continuing to use is a recipe for disaster. Those aforementioned overdose statistics are proof that addiction is a deadly illness that killed more people in America in 2017 than the number who died in the entirety of the Vietnam War.

You don't, however, have to be one of those statistics. You can stop using, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live. That starts at Cornerstone, but you have to pick up the phone and reach out. Give us a call, and we'll do everything we can to get you on your way toward a better future.

Why Consider Leaving Cleveland For Your Treatment?

There are plenty of drug and alcohol rehab centers with a couple hours' drive of Cleveland, but few offer the comprehensive approach to substance abuse treatment that Cornerstone does. Our philosophy is based on traditional 12 Step methods pioneered by organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous, combined with evidence-based clinical therapies rooted in science and education. This dual approach allows us to design an individualized treatment plan for every patient, and by leaving home, they have an opportunity to withdraw from a possibly toxic environment and focus solely on themselves. At Cornerstone, we know how difficult it can be to get clean on your own, and by leaving Cleveland, you'll have an opportunity to center yourself in a therapeutic environment that will return you stronger than ever to the life you put on hold.
