Inpatient Alcoholism Treatment & Alcohol Rehab Lexington KY
Given how much Kentucky residents — and, by proxy, individuals who live in Lexington — love to drink, it's a good thing that there's a quality alcoholism treatment center near Lexington that can help those for whom it becomes a problem.
In 2018, Kentucky residents reported binge drinking at almost 40 percent higher than the national average, consuming roughly 652 drinks every year. Kentucky ranked third in the nation in the number of alcoholic beverages consumed by binge drinkers, which makes it no surprise that residents of Lexington, as well as other parts of the state, often find themselves in need of an alcohol rehab. At Cornerstone of Recovery, a straight shot down Interstate 75 in the suburbs of Knoxville, Tennessee, they've got one.
Since 1989, Cornerstone has helped alcoholics stop drinking, address the reasons that have contributed to their alcoholism and find long-term sobriety that allows them to return home with the peace of mind they so often seek in a bottle. We do it all from a four facility campus on 25 acres halfway between downtown Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where we moved in 2017 to become one of the largest alcoholism treatment providers in the state of Tennessee. And fortunately for those in Lexington who need it, we offer a full continuum of care that helps those individuals recover from a disease that claims roughly 88,000 lives annually, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
At Cornerstone, our treatment is built on the belief that sobriety isn't just about helping a patient stop drinking. We do that, of course, through our safe, medically supervised detox regimen, but in order to help them stay stopped, we transition them to one of our four residential alcoholism treatment programs that leaves no emotional, mental or spiritual stone unturned in our quest to give them to gift of sobriety. Our Newcomers Program provides an educational component to those facing their alcoholism for the first time; our Recovery Renewal Program is a deeper dive into the issues that stumbling blocks that have prevented those with previous alcoholism treatment experience or periods of abstinence from achieving long-term sobriety; our Young Adult Program takes into account the need for more active and engaging challenges for men ages 18 to 26; and our Women's Program is a sisterhood of female clients, therapists and counselors who work together to create a safe space for women to process issues and traumas unique to them.
From the exceptional food served in our dining hall to the comfortable and spacious rooms in our residence hall to our modern fitness facility, Cornerstone of Recovery is so much more than just another alcohol rehab. And because we're in network with most major private and commercial insurance plans, we're the ideal destination for individuals in or near Lexington who need the right alcoholism treatment program to get their lives back on track.

the first step to the rest of your life starts at cornerstone of recovery
Cornerstone of Recovery is a comprehensive drug and alcohol addiction treatment center founded by an alcoholic who believed that sobriety is an attainable goal for anyone who suffers. From our humble beginnings as an 18-bed facility in a strip mall outside of Knoxville, Tenn., we've stoked those fires of hope to become one of the largest residential treatment providers in Tennessee, now located on a 25-acre, four-facility campus.
For those seeking addiction treatment for drugs and alcohol, we offer a full spectrum of care, from safe, medically supervised detox to residential inpatient to outpatient rehab, during which patients come to understand the nature of their disease as well as the internal damage to the body, mind and spirit that it's caused. We employ a wide variety of therapeutic tools, from Activity Therapy to Fitness to peer support groups to one-on-one counseling, all designed to give our patients the hope of long-term sobriety once they return home to Lexington.

Alcoholism & Drug Addiction Treatment Programs

Through a proper assessment and evaluation period, Cornerstone of Recovery can make the best recommendation for each individual that will give them the best opportunity to achieve a lasting recovery.

Young Adult Inpatient Program
Our Young Adult Residential rehab and recovery program is specifically structured for persons between the ages of 18 and 26. Understanding that this age group faces its own unique set of circumstances, our clinical staff focuses on developmental issues, behavior styles, and energy levels specific to the young adult.
