Drug Rehab & Addiction Treatment Center Atlanta GA
Cornerstone Is An In-Network Provider With Most Insurance Companies
We also offer financing & private pay options.
A November 2017 report paints a grim picture of substance abuse in Atlanta, Georgia:
- Increased purity levels of methamphetamine, some samples approaching 90 percent, are causing more deaths in the Atlanta area.
- The availability of and mortality rates associated with cocaine and crack increased in 2016.
- The deadly narcotic fentanyl is increasingly making its way into heroin and cocaine sold in the Atlanta area.
Clearly, it's a major metropolitan city in which it can be very difficult to recover from addiction. Fortunately, there's an addiction treatment option a few hours north, just outside of Knoxville, Tenn., where Atlanta residents can get away from the perils of their hometown and find recovery in an environment built on 30 years of tradition.
the first step to the rest of your life starts at cornerstone of recovery
Cornerstone of Recovery was established in 1989 and has since grown into one of the largest addiction treatment providers in the state of Tennessee. We're in network with the majority of commercial and private insurance plans, we offer a full spectrum of care and we have what all addicts are seeking when they come to the end of the road: hope.
What Does Treatment Involve?
Your treatment plan begins from the moment you pick up the phone and call our compassionate Admissions staff. We'll assess your needs and determine your level of care so that you receive comprehensive professional care in one of our treatment programs. All patients will go through a short period of Medical Detox, during which time around-the-clock staff members will administer comfort medication and ease your withdrawal symptoms. Afterward, you'll transition into one of our four programs:
Inpatient Treatment, for young men ages 18 to 26 who require more active therapeutic approaches and vocational knowledge to help them return to Atlanta ready to move on with their lives.
Women's Only Residential Inpatient Treatment, a program to meet the needs of addicted females who require a safe space in which to process issues and traumas unique to their gender
In addition, treatment at Cornerstone includes the opportunity to enroll in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP); psychiatric services to evaluate underlying mental health conditions that can present as both addiction and co-occurring disorders; a Sober Living on-campus community for IOP patients and Partial Hospitalization Program clients; therapy weekends for family members of patients; and Medication Assisted Treatment in the form of Vivitrol.
Does Cornerstone Accept My Health Insurance?
We get it. Navigating a health insurance plan is often as confusing as filing your taxes. It can be daunting, overwhelming, nerve-wracking … which are the last things you need on your mind if your health, your family, your job and your life is on the line. Addiction puts all of those things in jeopardy, and figuring out how to pay for substance abuse treatment on top of dealing with the day-to-day misery of addiction may feel paralyzing.
Don’t let it. Don’t let it stop you from making that initial phone call. At Cornerstone of Recovery, we accept a host of health insurance plans, and we can help you figure out what benefits your plan provides and assist you in getting the most out of them for your drug and alcohol treatment. Some of the plans we accept include:
ValueOptions/Beacon Health Options
If you don't see your plan on this list, or you don't have insurance, that's not an impediment toward treatment. Let us help you figure out your financial options, but in order to do that, you have to pick up the phone.
What Happens Next?
It's not easy, admitting you have a problem. It's even more difficult to admit you need help to overcome that problem. Your addiction doesn't make you weak or a bad person, despite what you may have done to feed your habit. You're a sick person who needs to get well, not a bad person who needs to be good ... and we can help you do that.
At Cornerstone of Recovery, we know where you're at, because many of us were once in your shoes. Roughly 90 percent of our clinical staff are recovering addicts and alcoholics, as well as many of our administrative staff members. From the first phone call to your discharge date, you'll be surrounded by examples of what recovery can do to make your life better, because we want to share what was once shared with us.
We can't do that, however, unless you reach out. Pick up the phone and call today, and let's get you started on your recovery journey.
Why Consider Leaving Atlanta For Addiction Treatment
Leaving home for treatment is a big decision, and one you shouldn't take lightly. While there are numerous rehab centers in the Atlanta area, the care provided by our staff and clinical team is on par with any other facility in the nation, so the quality of care you'll receive at Cornerstone is on par, or superior, with any of your local options. By the same token, we find that it's often easier to focus on yourself and your recovery needs if you remove yourself from potentially toxic environments that may make it difficult to get clean and stay clean. We're only a few hours away, and after time in our program, you'll be able to return to Atlanta happier, healthier and better equipped to maintain long-term recovery.
