Inpatient Drug Rehab & Addiction Treatment Chattanooga TN

If you’re looking for drug rehab in Chattanooga, TN, cast your net a little wider.

Just up Interstate 75, in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, is Cornerstone of Recovery, an addiction treatment center that’s been helping patients find a new way to live since 1989. As one of the nation’s top addiction treatment programs, as well as the largest residential provider in the state of Tennessee, we provide patients with a wide range of clinical services, from medically assisted detox that helps them slowly and safely withdraw from any and all drugs to models of treatment based in both science and tradition.

Those struggling with substance abuse will be hard-pressed to finder a better treatment option than Cornerstone of Recovery. Our philosophy is that recovery from chemical dependence involves so much more than simply putting those substances down; it's about a complete reinvention of the body, mind, heart and spirit that addresses those issues that drive patients to continue to use, even in the face of negative or even catastrophic consequences.

the first step to the rest of your life starts at cornerstone of recovery

Those who find themselves caught up in the repetitious cycle of addiction often suffer in a number of ways, from health problems to psychological issues like depression to a general inability to cope with life without the use of drugs.

At Cornerstone, the professional care offered by our counselors and therapists addresses those root causes of addiction. In addition to peer support and one-on-one counseling, our treatment for drug abuse and addiction involves regular fitness participation to engage the body; Activity Therapy to engage the mind; and mindfulness exercises to engage the spirit.

Our whole-person approach to treatment means that every patient who comes to us is assigned an individualized treatment plan to determine which areas of life need to be addressed, and through a combination of education, therapy and training, we help those afflicted find their way back out of a darkness in which they've lived for far too long.

What Does Treatment Involve?

From scientifically proven methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Schema Therapy to 12 Step-based therapy with a group of peers, our residential/inpatient programs are tailored to the specific needs of the individual:

Newcomers Residential Program

The Newcomers Program welcomes patients with little to no exposure to 12 Step recovery or traditional drug and alcohol treatment regimens; the goal is to address the ways in which substance abuse is used as a coping mechanism for a variety of biological, psychological, sociological and spiritual maladies and life traps.

Young Adult Residential

The Young Adult Program incorporates life skills and vocational rehabilitation for young people, ages 18 to 26, who may have been caught up in addiction before their lives have truly begun.

Recovery Renewal Program

The Recovery Renewal Program is a deeper dive into the treatment process for individuals who have been through drug rehab in the past but who are unable to maintain long-term sobriety.

Women's Drug Rehab Program

The Women’s Program is tailored specifically for female clients, many of whom find that processing physically and emotionally traumatic life events that precipitate and coincide with addiction is easier to do when supported by other women.

Regardless of the specificity of the treatment program, the same goal of each is the same: lifelong, successful recovery that gives each patient the opportunity of a new life free from the bondage of addiction.

Does Cornerstone Accept My Health Insurance?

Addiction and financial stability are often mutually exclusive statuses. If you struggle with a drug problem, chances are good you’re not flush with the funds required to pay for residential addiction treatment. However, if you have a commercial health insurance policy, you likely have access to behavioral health benefits that will help pay for addiction and alcoholism treatment.

Cornerstone of Recovery is an in-network provider with most major health insurance plans, and our business staff members have years of experiencing navigating the fine print of health insurance policies to get the most out of your benefits.
