Alcohol & Drug Rehab That Accepts United Healthcare Insurance Louisville KY
If you're struggling in Louisville with a drug and alcohol problem, and you've got health insurance through UnitedHealthcare, we've got a message for you: Stop struggling, and get down to Knoxville, Tennessee, where you can turn your life around.
Located near Knoxville, Cornerstone of Recovery has, for 30 years, helped thousands of addicts and alcoholics, including many from the Louisville area, free themselves from the chains of addiction. When we opened in 1989, we were a small drug and alcohol rehab that believed addicts and alcoholics were sick individuals who needed healing, and that's what our founder — himself a recovering alcoholic — sought to provide. In 2017, we moved to a four-facility campus on 25 acres, 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville and 30 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but our philosophy has remained the same for three decades: that addicts and alcoholics, while broken and suffering, deserve a chance at a better life and can get it through a combination of therapy, kindness and the leadership of others who are in recovery themselves.
At Cornerstone, the majority of our staff members are drawn from the local recovery community, and some of them are alumni of Cornerstone of Recovery. Many of them are licensed, credential substance abuse counselors, master's level clinicians and therapists with degrees of various kinds, but our approach to addiction treatment isn't strictly scholarly: It's drawn from the experience we have in treating addicts and alcoholics for 30 years. Our treatment is built on the 12 Steps of most recovery programs and augmented by various therapeutic modalities that are evidence-based, from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to trauma therapy to Schema Therapy. We have an on-staff psychiatric team that provides dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health issues. We have an on-campus fitness center where patients can rehabilitate their bodies while we work on their minds. We provide family therapy that can include loved ones in the process, and we start every patient out with a safe, comfortable stay in our medical detox unit, to help them wean off of drugs and alcohol.
Afterward, they'll transition to one of our four unique residential inpatient programs: Newcomers, Recovery Renewal, Young Adult or Women's Only, and we'll begin the process of leading them out of the darkness and into the light. Recovery is about so much more than just putting down the alcohol and drugs, and for those who live in or near Louisville looking to find the best treatment center covered by their United Healthcare plan, they won't find a better one that Cornerstone of Recovery. We're in network with UHC and many other insurance policies, and we're waiting for your phone call, so that you can find hope, healing and recovery with us.

Newcomers Inpatient Program
Those seeking drug and alcohol treatment for the first time often find themselves lost and defeated. How, they wonder, could this have happened? Addiction and alcoholism aren't things anybody plans on, but they do happen, and they happen to individuals from all walks of life. In our Newcomers Program, we'll help you understand that, but more importantly, we'll help you understand how you can get better.
Recovery Renewal Inpatient Program
No addict or alcoholic in recovery leaves treatment with the intention of relapsing ... but it does happen. And when it does, recovery might seem like a pointless endeavor. We assure you: It's not, and our Recovery Renewal Program will help you uncover the reasons why you've been unable to stay sober despite previous treatment attempts or periods in a recovery program. Whatever your needs are, we'll help you get back on track.
Young Adult Inpatient Program
Men ages 18 to 26 often feel awkward and out-of-place at a drug and alcohol treatment center ... which is why we've devised a Young Adult Program specifically to meet their needs and make them more comfortable. They'll attend groups, meetings, lectures and activities with peers their age, and they'll receive therapeutic opportunities specifically geared toward young adults whose lives have been derailed before they've truly begun.
Women Only Inpatient Program
Female patients seeking addiction and alcoholism treatment often feel reluctant to get help if a program is coeducational. We understand that hesitation, which is why our unique Women's Only Program is designed to give our female clients an opportunity to band together, lift one another help, hold one another accountable and help one another find the inner grace, beauty and confidence they all need to stay clean and sober for good.
If you're ready to get help for a drug and alcohol problem, then know this: Once you complete residential inpatient treatment, you'll have an opportunity to extend your stay before returning home to Louisville. In many cases, your UnitedHealthcare policy will pay for some or all of follow-up care known as Intensive Outpatient, an eight-week program in which you'll live in our Sober Living community, continue groups and therapy three hours a day at Cornerstone, and slowly begin to transition back into the "real" world. It's a way of helping you find your footing, and for individuals who have struggled with alcohol and drugs for years, if not decades, it's an ideal setting in which to get re-acclimated to reality before returning home the Louisville area — as sober, confident and well-prepared individuals in recovery.
