Alcohol & Drug Rehab That Accepts Humana Health Insurance Near Raliegh NC
So you're looking for drug and alcohol treatment in or near Raleigh that takes your Humana insurance policy. May we suggest broadening your search?
Not far. Less than six hours to the west, actually, down Interstate 40, where you'll find Cornerstone of Recovery near Knoxville, Tennessee. Yes, it's a bit of a drive, but for some of the best addiction and alcoholism treatment that will change your life, is that really so far? We think not. In fact, since we first opened our doors in 1989, we've treated thousands of suffering addicts and alcoholics from around the country, including many from Raleigh. We're in network with most major private and commercial insurance companies, including Humana, because those organizations recognize that the work we do is without parallel.
Our growth is evidence of that: When we first opened, we started with 18 beds and 22 staff members. Three years ago, we moved to a new four-facility campus on 25 acres, making us one of the largest residential treatment providers in Tennessee, but we've remained true to our original mission: providing abstinence-based drug and alcohol treatment that draws on 12 Step recovery, evidence-based psychotherapeutic tools and the guidance of clinical staff members drawn from the local recovery community. The therapeutic value of one addict or alcoholic helping another is without parallel, and many of our employees were once patients right here at Cornerstone. Their journeys began just as yours will: with a 3- to 5-day stay in Medical Detox, where you'll be safely, comfortably and slowly withdrawn from drugs and alcohol before transitioning to one of our four residential inpatient programs: Newcomers, for treatment first-timers; Women's Only, for all female clients; Recovery Renewal, for those with previous drug and alcohol rehab experience who have been unable to stay sober on their own; and Young Adult, designed to meet the active needs of men ages 18 to 26.
In each program, patients will receive one-on-one counseling and a combination of various therapies, from Schema Therapy to Acceptance And Integration Training to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and more. If you're dealing with co-occurring mental health problems like depression or bipolar disorder, you'll receive dual diagnosis treatment from our psychiatric team. Should you desire, we'll bring your family into the process for family therapy sessions. We'll put you into regular gym sessions in our on-campus fitness center to help rehabilitate your body as well as your mind. And we'll help you craft a comprehensive and thorough aftercare plan that helps you make permanent sobriety a goal once you leave our care.
We offer all of this and more. If you have a Humana plan and live in or near Raleigh, you can probably find other drug and alcohol treatment, but we guarantee you won't find any that's better than what we offer at Cornerstone of Recovery.
Learn More About Cornerstone of Recovery
What Is Involved With The Alcoholism Treatment Programs?
Treatment at Cornerstone of Recovery varies according to the individual. There are many commonalities across all four residential inpatient programs, but from the time you call our Admissions Department to give us information about your life in Raleigh and the particulars of your Humana plan, we'll start working with you to craft an individual treatment plan designed to meet your specific needs. If you have trauma from your past, we offer trauma therapy. If you suffer from pain issues, we have a non-narcotic pain management program to help you transition off of opioids. Recovery isn't a one-size-fits-all approach, and we recognize that at Cornerstone. The most important realization you'll have, however, is that you're not a "bad" person who needs to be "good" — you're a sick person who needs to get better, and you can do that with us.
Newcomers Inpatient Program
Newcomers Program clients come to us confused and bewildered by just how quickly their lives have gotten out of control because of alcohol and drugs. We'll help them understand the process, but more importantly, we'll provide them with tools to overcome their particular issues, implement healthier coping skills and learn to live life on life's terms, without needing to change the way they feel through the ongoing use of drugs and alcohol.
Recovery Renewal Inpatient Program
Recovery Renewal Program patients need a tender touch, because their relapse — after previous attempts at drug and alcohol rehab or abstinence through various recovery programs — feels demoralizing. We show them that it's a setback, not a permanent defeat, and that with the right amount of work and focus on issues that may have been previous unaddressed, they can turn the tide of the cycle of relapse and find the contentment they long for in permanent sobriety.
Young Adult Inpatient Program
Young Adult Program patients come to us angry and restless, unsure of how addiction and alcoholism had such an early impact on their lives and robbed them of potential. We teach them that those illnesses don't discriminate because of age, we engage them on a level appropriate for 18- to 26-year-old guys and we use vocational therapy to help them determine what they may want to do with their lives if they're unencumbered by alcohol and drugs.
Women Only Inpatient Program
In our Women's Program, female clients can let out a deep breath it feels they've been holding for years. Surrounded by other women, they find the freedom to process issues, traumas and stuck points that are often complicated by the presence of men, and in so doing they become part of a sorority of women growing in confidence and self-acceptance. It's an amazingly powerful and transformational program that gives women the space they need to discover themselves.
After completing residential inpatient treatment, many clients, we find, need more time before they're ready to return home. After all, 28 to 35 days isn't long to unravel years or even decades of drug and alcohol use and their deleterious effects on lives. For that reason, we encourage those individuals to work with our accounting team to determine if their Humana plans will cover Intensive Outpatient treatment, an eight-week extension that helps participants slowly transition back to reality through increased privileges and responsibilities while they stay in our Sober Living community. During the day, they'll continue groups and therapy, be able to attend outside meetings, get their cell phones back and even bring their vehicles to campus. It's a way of easing back into the "real" world, so that when the time comes to return to Raleigh, they'll do so with greater confidence in their abilities to stay clean and sober.
