Alcohol & Drug Rehab That Accepts Humana Health Insurance Greenville SC
Three hours. In three hours, you could be on the way to a better life, if you're struggling with drugs and alcohol.
That's how far it is from Greenville to Knoxville, Tennessee, where you'll find Cornerstone of Recovery — a drug and alcohol treatment center considered one of the best in the nation. That's not hyperbole; that's reality, because for more than three decades, we've provided effective addiction and alcoholism treatment to thousands of individuals from across the country, including many who live in and around Greenville. And because of our continued success, we've cultivated close working relationships with most major private and commercial insurance providers, including Humana. In fact, Greenville residents with a Humana plan seeking the best drug and alcohol treatment that their policy covers will find everything they need at Cornerstone to stop using and drinking, lose the desire to do so and find a new way to live.
Each patient begins his or her Cornerstone journey with a 3- to 5-day detoxification regimen designed to wean them from the alcohol and drugs that have caused so much damage to their lives. Afterward, they'll transition to one of our four residential inpatient programs: Newcomers, for individuals needing treatment for the very first time; Recovery Renewal, for those who have been to rehab in the past but haven't been able to maintain their sobriety; Young Adult, a more active, age-appropriate program for men ages 18 to 26; and Women's Only, a program designed specifically to meet the needs of all of our female clients. Members of each program will take part in peer support groups, one-on-one counseling, 12 Step facilitation and a broad array of evidence-based therapies, from Schema Therapy to Cognitive Processing Therapy to trauma therapy, all of which are designed to help them address and overcome issues, tragedies, stuck points and stumbling blocks that have made drugs and alcohol such a preferable alternative to reality.
But that's not all. We'll offer psychiatric dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders; family therapy to rebuild broken bonds with loved ones; fitness therapy in our on-campus fitness center; and much, much more. We do it all from the comfort of our 25-acre, four-facility campus, to which we moved in 2017 to become one of the largest providers of residential addiction and alcoholism treatment in the state of Tennessee. Our reach, however, extends far beyond the Volunteer State — which is why if you live in Greenville and have a Humana insurance policy, your treatment needs will be met beyond any expectations you have at Cornerstone of Recovery.
Learn More About Cornerstone of Recovery
What Is Involved With The Alcoholism Treatment Programs?
At Cornerstone of Recovery, from the time you reach out to us, we'll begin your full continuum of care. That initial call will help us evaluate your needs, arrange for your arrival from Greenville and assist you in navigating the details of your Humana insurance plan. We'll gather more information about what and how much you use, give you an idea of what to expect while you're here and begin to make preparations for your arrival. From the time you arrive, you'll be encouraged to do one thing: give yourself a break. Addiction and alcoholism carry with them great amounts of shame and guilt, and we understand keenly what it's like to deal with those emotions — because the majority of our clinical staff members are in recovery themselves, and some are actually alumni of Cornerstone. We believe strongly that the therapeutic value of one addict or alcoholic helping another is the ideal path forward out of addiction and alcoholism, and we've built our success on the combination of tradition and evidence-based psychological approaches to treatment.
Newcomers Inpatient Program
No one wakes up one day and decides rehab makes an ideal vacation destination. Many people who wind up in treatment for the first time do so only as a last resort, and when they arrive, they feel broken, defeated and confused about why they've fallen prey to drugs and alcohol. In our Newcomers Program, we address all of those things, but most importantly, we provide them with the tools they need to live life without needing alcohol and drugs in order to cope.
Recovery Renewal Inpatient Program
Relapse: to suffer deterioration after a period of improvement. In sobriety circles, it means returning to using drugs and alcohol after previous trips through rehab or time in recovery programs, and it can bring about devastating feelings of guilt and shame. Our Recovery Renewal Program addresses those things, but more importantly, it digs deeper into the issues, traumas and maladaptive coping skills that prevent individuals from sustaining long-term sobriety.
Young Adult Inpatient Program
Young men in the 18- to 26-year-old age range often come to rehab thinking they'll have nothing in common with their older peers. They often find out different, but their treatment needs require an approach designed to engage them on physical and mental levels appropriate to their age group — which is why our Young Adult Program is ideal for these particular patients. It's more active, more challenging, more engaging and provides them with a chance to plan for a sober future.
Women Only Inpatient Program
Female patients at Cornerstone of Recovery will find that our unique Women's Only Program is an oasis — of femininity, of empowerment and most of all, of recovery. Together, the ladies who come to us for help form a sisterhood that lifts one another up and helps one another find the confidence they need to deal with their issues and traumas, discover their true selves without the mask of drugs and alcohol and plan for a bright and shining future as sober women.
After completing residential inpatient treatment, those who come to us from Greenville to take advantage of their Humana benefits have a choice: return home, or extend their stay. If they choose the former, we'll help them set up an aftercare plan that will effectively meet their post-treatment/recovery journey needs. If they choose the latter, they'll have an opportunity to stay in our Sober Living community, among peers who are also transitioning Cornerstone patients, and attend eight weeks of our Intensive Outpatient Program, which meets for several hours each day, four days a week. It's a way of extending the treatment safety net while taking slow but steady steps back into a world that can seem overwhelming and new, in a sense, to those getting clean and sober after years or even decades of alcoholism and addiction.
