Alcohol & Drug Rehab That Accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield Nashville TN

Alcohol Drug Rehab that accepts blue cross blue shield in Nashville TNAddiction and alcoholism can be crippling and devastating illnesses — for those who struggle with alcohol and drugs, and for their loved ones who feel fated to watch them suffer and slip away. At Cornerstone of Recovery, a nationally recognized drug and alcohol treatment center located three hours east of Nashville, we've spent the last 30 years providing hope, healing and recovery to those who seek a way out of the misery of addiction and alcoholism.

Since 1989, we've worked to become so much more than just another drug and alcohol rehab. Our efforts were noticed early on by commercial and private health insurance providers like BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, which provides coverage for many people in and near Nashville who need addiction and alcoholism treatment. Thanks to our partnership with companies like BlueCross BlueShield, we've treated thousands of individuals from around the country, including many from the Nashville area, and have grown from a modest, 18-bed facility in a suburban Knoxville strip mall to a 172-bed, four-facility campus located 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville and 30 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

We moved here in 2017, and our mission hasn't slowed: We continue to accept patients from a variety of insurance networks, including BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, and help them find a new way to live. That starts with our safe, comfortable and medically supervised detox program, followed by a stay in one of our four residential programs: Newcomers, for first-time treatment seekers; Recovery Renewal, for those who have relapsed or been unable to stay sober after previous attempts at treatment; Young Adult, designed for men ages 18 to 26; and Women's Only, a program for women, led by women. In addition, we provide a range of other therapies and amenities, from psychiatric dual diagnosis of co-occurring disorders like bipolar and ADHD to exercise in our modern and well-equipped on-campus fitness center to group therapy and lectures to one-on-one counseling and family therapy with loved ones.

At Cornerstone of Recovery, we're proud to be part of a vibrant and thriving community of drug and alcohol treatment providers in network with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, and for those in the Nashville area who have BCBS coverage, we recognize that your treatment options are broad. We're also confident that you won't find a better experience, or receive better treatment, anywhere else. We're looking forward to discussing how we can help you.

What Is Involved With The Alcoholism Treatment Programs?

There's a phrase in the literature of a particular recovery program that talks about how the "therapeutic value of one addict helping another is without parallel." That's something we believe in strongly at Cornerstone, and we compliment our staff of master's and doctorate level clinicians and therapists with counselors drawn from the local recovery community. Whether you come from the well-kept neighborhoods of Belle Meade or the streets of Buena Vista Heights, we've got a place for every Nashville resident with a BlueCross BlueShield health insurance plan seeking drug and alcohol treatment. It's one built on tradition and innovation, because while we remain true to what's helped establish us as an industry leader, we're always working on ways to incorporate new therapies and treatment modalities, because like recovery, drug and alcohol treatment is a journey, not a destination.

Newcomers Inpatient Program

Patients in our Newcomers Program can expect to stay 28 to 35 days, on average, and receive a balanced regimen of education and therapy. We believe that individuals seeking help for addiction for the first time need to understand the disease that afflicts them as well as learn ways to recover from it, so we work diligently to teach those patients that they're not "bad" people who need to be "good" — they're sick individuals who need to get better.

Recovery Renewal Inpatient Program

After leaving treatment, or finding sobriety through a recovery program, few things are more disheartening than a relapse. It's not a requirement, but it does happen — and our Recovery Renewal Program is set up to help those individuals overcome guilt and shame, uncover the issues that may have gone unaddressed during previous treatment attempts and build up stronger coping mechanisms to ensure future success.

Young Adult Inpatient Program

When young people get caught up in alcohol and drugs as teens, their lives are often disrupted before they truly begin. As a result, men ages 18 to 26 with a drug and/or alcohol problem need more than just addiction treatment — they need to discover who they really are and what they want to do with their lives in recovery, which is where our Young Adult Program can make all the difference.

Women Only Inpatient Program

From sexual assault to domestic violence, women who suffer from addiction and alcoholism often face unique traumas and issues that can be difficult to process. As a result, doing so is often harder in co-educational groups with male peers. We recognized this several years ago and created our unique Women's Only Program, designed specifically as a safe place for female clients to process the things that have contributed to their addiction.

After completing residential inpatient treatment, Cornerstone clients who come to us from Nashville with a BlueCross BlueShield policy are offered an opportunity to continue their therapy. Our Intensive Outpatient Program meets three hours a day, four days a week, for eight weeks, extending the safety net of recovery to those who aren't ready to return home to Davidson County. While living in our Sober Living community, these individuals earn privileges, take part in volunteer opportunities and encouraged to seek employment, should they so choose, in order to slowly reintegrate back into "normal" life before leaving to return home — as stronger, more confident, responsible and productive members of Nashville society.
