Alcohol & Drug Rehab That Accepts Humana Health Insurance Atlanta GA
You're struggling with a drug or alcohol problem, and you're at the end of your rope. Atlanta, the city you call home, is a constant reminder of the wreckage of your present and the pain of your past. If you're an Atlanta resident with health insurance through Humana, then why not use it to get out of town and get the help you need?
Three hours up Interstate 75, there's a drug and alcohol treatment center that's in network with Humana, along with most other major commercial and private insurance plans, that's provided hope, healing and recovery to thousands of addicts and alcoholics since our doors first opened in 1989. At Cornerstone of Recovery, you can get help for your problem, address the issues that addiction and alcoholism have compounded and get a new lease on life that allows you to return to Atlanta ready to to rebuild your home, your family, your career and yourself.
When Cornerstone first opened its doors, we were small — only 18 beds and 22 staff members — but driven by a mighty vision. Our founder, himself a recovering alcoholic, knew that with a firm foundation in the 12 Steps and with the help of numerous evidence-based therapeutic modalities, any addict or alcoholic could stop using and drinking, lose the desire to do so and find a new way to live. Three years ago, we moved to our present location — a 172-bed campus on 25 acres just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, and while we've grown in scope and size, we've never lost sight of that original philosophy. Every patient begins his or her journey in Medical Detox, where for 3 to 5 days, they'll be slowly, safely and comfortably withdrawn from drugs and alcohol. Afterward, they'll transition to one of our four residential inpatient programs: Newcomers, for those making their way to recovery for the first time; Recovery Renewal, for individuals who have relapsed after previous rehab attempts or time in a recovery program; Young Adult, for 18- to 26-year-old men; and Women's Only, a gender-specific program for all female patients.
As part of each program, patients will take part in an individualized treatment plan designed to best meet their needs. Trauma therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance And Integration Training ... those are just a few of the therapies we offer, and we don't just focus on the mind and emotions. We also address each patient's physical needs through time in our modern on-campus fitness center; we evaluate their psychiatric needs with dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health issues like depression; we help them rebuild relationships with their loved ones through family therapy. At Cornerstone, we believe that our treatment is without parallel, which is why we encourage anyone with a Humana plan, in Atlanta or anywhere in the country, to seek their drug and alcohol treatment with us.
Learn More About Cornerstone of Recovery
What Is Involved With The Alcoholism Treatment Programs?
Cornerstone of Recovery is located 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville and 30 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but on our picturesque campus, those who come to us for help are insulated from the outside world while they focus on getting better. From nights in our residence tower to meals in our dining hall overlooking the river to counseling and therapy in our treatment building, we provide everything that a Humana customer seeking drug and alcohol treatment could need, and we work to help you maintain focus on what you deserve: freedom from alcoholism and addiction, so that once your stay with us is complete, you can return home to Atlanta on firm recovery footing, able to stay clean and sober permanently.
Newcomers Inpatient Program
The Newcomers Program is for individuals who are just starting to come to terms with their addiction or alcoholism. We educate you about the nature of your disease, help you take stock of your issues and character traits that have kept you stuck and provide you with the therapy and treatment you need to find success on the other side of drugs and alcohol.
Recovery Renewal Inpatient Program
Drug and alcohol treatment isn't a "one time only" affair for many addicts and alcoholics. Relapse is always a possibility, but the Recovery Renewal Program helps those who have relapsed — once or multiple times — and provides them with the treatment they need to address any underlying issues that have contributed to their inability to stay clean and sober.
Young Adult Inpatient Program
There's no age requirement for when addiction or alcoholism become a problem, and our experience has shown that young men ages 18 to 26 can suffer just as much as their older counterparts. Their recovery needs, however, require a different approach, which is where our Young Adult Program can make all of the difference. It's more active and interactive and includes a vocational element that helps these individuals look toward a brighter future.
Women Only Inpatient Program
In our Women's Program, all female clients are combined into a single, powerful unit that functions as a sisterhood of empowering women. The issues, traumas and problems that bring women to treatment are different than those that afflict men, and these ladies need a safe and secure place in which to process and heal from those issues. Our Women's Program provides that, and allows them to discover their true potential.
After residential inpatient treatment is complete, patients who come to Cornerstone from the Atlanta area can choose to return home, where we'll work closely with them and their Humana insurance provisions to set up a solid aftercare plan, or they can continue their treatment with us. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to extend the residential safety net, and it gives patients an opportunity to continue therapy and treatment for several hours a day, four days a week. When they're not in groups, they'll live as part of our Sober Living community, earning privileges as they progress in the program and slowly transitioning back into society. It's a way to ease them into the new way of life they come to Cornerstone to find, allowing them to build a recovery network outside of treatment so that when it's time to go back home to Atlanta, they do so with heads held high.
