Residential Relapse Recovery Program

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never failing, but in rising every time you fail.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Perhaps you or your loved one has already been through residential treatment and there is a relapse.  You try and pull yourself out of those old habits.  You know in your head what you learned in treatment, but you just can’t seem to get back on that path of sobriety.  You feel as if you’ve reached the end of the line and failed.

First of all, know that you are not alone in your relapse and that hope survives!  Cornerstone of Recovery offers a specifically-tailored program for those who have relapsed.

Sometimes, despite previous attempts at treatment, some chemically-dependent individuals don’t always stay in recovery.  The Residential Relapse Recovery program is an intensive residential inpatient program for those persons who have been unsuccessful in staying clean and sober after exposure to residential treatment and 12-step programs in the past.

These individuals often cannot identify the triggers and issues that drive them to repeat the same patterns that result in relapse.  Because these individuals are also “treatment wise” – having had previous working knowledge of the disease concept and treatment for chemical dependency – they need a different approach.

  • A supervised detoxification program
  • A 28-30 day residential program with emphasis on development of self-esteem, moral reasoning, and relapse prevention
  • Intense schedule from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week
  • Group therapy
  • Identification of stumbling blocks and past patterns of behavior that have contributed to relapse in the past and development of coping mechanisms that support and develop.
  • Family programs for parents, siblings, spouses, and children as young as 3.
  • Attendance at 12-step recovery meetings, both in our facility and in the community
  • Extended continuous care/aftercare focus
