Outpatient Therapy

Our Outpatient Therapy program consists of specialized groups that meet an hour and a half each week. These group meetings are open to the public and no attendee has to be enrolled in any other Cornerstone program. For inquiry of admission to any particular group, please contact our Admissions department at 800-684-6614. Listed below is the most up-to-date group schedule, with a brief description of each group.

Alcohol and Other Drugs Group Therapy
This group is designed for individuals that are struggling with managing risks to their recovery and no longer meet the criteria for Intensive Outpatient. This group therapy session also incorporates a concentration on schema therapy.

Couples Group Therapy
This group is designed to allow couples to continue therapy in a group model to address communication issues, communication styles, and issues related to problem-solving that interfere with the couples ability to thrive in their relationship.

Women's Relationship Group Therapy
This group is designed to educate women participants on what it takes to be a good partner and to assist in soul searching work on individual schemas that might impede a successful relationship.

Men's Relationship Group Therapy
This group is designed to educate men participants on what it takes to be a good partner and to assist in soul searching work on individual schemas that might impede a successful relationship.

Pain Management Group Therapy
This group therapy is designed to assist chronic pain patients to address issues of grief and loss, how to manage pain from day to day and how to increase quality of life and maintain recovery.

Peer Support Group
This group is designed to introduce persons to life after treatment and serves as the first stage of aftercare and fellowship with others in the community of sobriety.
