Meet the President/CEO

I am Dan Caldwell, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cornerstone of Recovery.  Through this web site, we hope to provide you with the information you need about chemical dependency in general and about our services here at Cornerstone of Recovery in particular.

The most important message I can give you is that people do recover from alcohol and drug dependency.  We see the life-changing gift of sobriety happen right here within our very own walls each and every day.  

Licensed and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the United States’ leading health care standards-setting and accrediting body, Cornerstone of Recovery has earned the trust and confidence of many national corporations and licensing organizations for professionals.  Approximately 50% of our admissions travel from across the country to receive our care that is based on patient needs and outcomes as opposed to profits.

Using a comprehensive 12-step recovery program, we at Cornerstone of Recovery treat the disease of drug/alcohol addiction from the inside out, as our multi-disciplinary professionals attend to the physical, emotional/psychological, interpersonal, behavioral and spiritual needs of all our patients. And, taking treatment to another level, we also provide each patient’s family/loved ones the support, help, and tools they need for their own recovery process.

We at Cornerstone also understand the important link between aftercare and successful long-term sobriety.   With two decades of experience, we offer all-inclusive aftercare programs for our patients and their loved ones.

Although I have worked in this field for over 30 years, my experience as a child of an alcoholic provides me with my best reference point on how to serve the needs of our patients and their families.  Cornerstone’s basic mission is to provide the best opportunity available for recovery, striving to constantly improve patient outcomes. I have used my personal experience as a guide to leading this mission the past 14 years.
